Wildrose Farm's Organic Cotton Fabrics

We are celebrating 12 years of commitment to using organically grown cotton. Over these years of working with and wearing our organic cotton clothing, we have enjoyed it’s softness, marveled at how well it washes, and raved to everyone who will listen of it’s durability. After all, favorite jackets in off-white that look just as good today as they did 12 years ago are not all that common.

When we started using organic cotton we had no idea that we would like it so much for these attributes. Our commitment was based only on the environmental factors of sustainable stewardship of the soil, and the desire to avoid chemical contamination. So, what makes organic cotton so soft and durable? Is it the processing of fiber to fabric? No chlorine bleach, formaldehyde sizing, fire retardants, or dyes containing heavy metals are allowed.

As you view our catalog, be assured that EVERY item in our catalog is made from environmentally friendly fibers. Our fabrics include:
100% organic cotton
50% organic cotton / 50% recycled cotton denim
90% organic cotton / 10% lycra
55% cotton / 45% hemp (cotton we are told, that is grown with no pesticides, but not certified)
70% silk / 30% hemp

Organic Cotton Fabrics are available by the yard. Because we purchase organic cotton for our line, and have some fabrics custom woven for us, we always have a changing variety of great fabrics for retail sale. (We currently do not sell fabrics wholesale.)
